Classic Edition 2007 – New Symphony Orchestra. The New Symphony Orchestra was concieved by music critic Julia Hristova with the intent of establishing an alternative music institution for young inexperienced but talented musicians in Bulgaria. The Concert House, opened by Julia Hristova in 1990, formed the foundation for the establishment of the orchestra and facilitated the organisation as well as the financing of the Orchestra´s own unique system of work. To date, the orchestra has groomed more than 800 musicians, many of which have pursued careers both in the largest orchestras and opera theatres within Bulgaria and worldwide.
The New Symphony Orchestra currently plays under the baton of Rossen Milanov, one of the most prestigious names in the conductors´ guild. He has been the Music Director of the orchestra since 1991, also founded the internationl Conducting Academy established at the Boyana Government in 1998.
The CD contains pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, from „Haffner“ serenade in D dur and from requiem, K 626.
