London, January 18th 2017 | Kerman & Co is delighted to announce the expansion of the firm’s corporate team with the recruitment of three new partners. The appointments build upon and further strengthen the firm’s capabilities and expertise in both domestic and international capital markets and M&A work.
Peter Kohl, formerly a partner at each of Hogan Lovells and Dorsey & Whitney, has more than 25 years’ transactional and advisory experience in capital markets, M&A, venture capital and corporate governance. Mr Kohl is the new head of the firm’s corporate practice. He is qualified in both England and the United States, with degrees from Harvard College (political science) and Georgetown University (law).
Martin O’Donoghue specialises in mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and disposals, joint ventures, share subscriptions, corporate finance and commercial contracts. He has considerable international experience, having advised clients on commercial transactions in the UK, Ireland, the US, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is qualified both in England & Wales and Ireland. Mr O’Donoghue joined Kerman & Co from Teacher Stern and previously spent several years with Eversheds.
Simon Holden advises on commercial transactions, corporate counselling, corporate finance and M&A. He has specialist equity capital markets experience in listing companies and raising capital on both AIM and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. He also has cross-border capital markets experience of AMEX, ASX, Nasdaq, TSX and TSXV. Mr Holden was formerly a partner at Lester Aldridge.
The corporate team already enjoys a strong reputation for capital markets and M&A work and these appointments underline the firm’s commitment to developing and growing the team for the benefit of Kerman & Co’s clients.
